Life has been so busy lately! It's hard to keep up with blogging.

This fall break we started it by going to our friends's baby first birthday followed by a crazy scooter bike ride {crazy but VERY FUN}

Later that night we went to a pumpkin festival a did a corn maze along with some rides. Kyren and Brody loved being in the maze.

We finally got our zoo passes and went to the zoo! After being so spoiled and living in San Diego and going to their zoo no other can ever compare but none the less we will make due with our little zoo. We ran into my sister-in0law there and walked around with them for a little.

We got a 3-D ultrasound of little Scarlett. It's so weird how you can see what your baby looks like. She is the cutest thing. {I will post pics once I scan them}

We also took the kids to Castles and Coaster. Kyren is such a dare devil and rode ALL the big rides. I would get so nervous every time, luckily he had Zaak to go on them with. Brody and I had fun going on all the little kid rides.

Zaak and I got to go to the Improve and it was a much needed date! We love having a good time and laughing together.

Shadow a student!

On Friday Zaak and I got to go to Kyren's school and shadow him for the day. It was so much fun and pretty neat to see what he does in school. We got there around lunch time and went to recess. Ky really wanted us to bring him some MsDonald's for lunch and eat with him. At the end of the day the kids get to "buy" {fake money earned in class} something from their treasure box and Ky was so sweet and got Zaak and I something from there too. He got me a ring and got Zaak and eraser. It made me tear up that he would think to get us something because we were there in his class. This boy is ALL HEART! He is the sweetest most lovable boy. I am so proud to have him as my son.

Kyren started taking karate classes...its so cute watching him every week practice his moves and then come home and teach Brody. Every week his teacher gives him a responsibility to do at home. Last week was helping to wash dishes.

50 Rules for Dads and Daughters

I was in tears as I read through this list, as I’m sure many grown daughters will be. Mothers – bookmark this list of rules and encourage your daughter’s daddy to read them, memorize them, and put them in to action. And, to all you Dads out there – be sure you pay close attention and heed these wise words.

1. Love her mom. Treat her mother with respect, honor, and a big heaping spoonful of public displays of affection. When she grows up, the odds are good she’ll fall in love with and marry someone who treats her much like you treated her mother. Good or bad, that’s just the way it is. I’d prefer good.

2. Always be there. Quality time doesn’t happen without quantity time. Hang out together for no other reason than just to be in each other’s presence. Be genuinely interested in the things that interest her. She needs her dad to be involved in her life at every stage. Don’t just sit idly by while she add years to her… add life to her years.

3. Save the day. She’ll grow up looking for a hero. It might as well be you. She’ll need you to come through for her over and over again throughout her life. Rise to the occasion. Red cape and blue tights optional.

4. Savor every moment you have together. Today she’s crawling around the house in diapers, tomorrow you’re handing her the keys to the car, and before you know it, you’re walking her down the aisle. Some day soon, hanging out with her old man won’t be the bees knees anymore. Life happens pretty fast. You better cherish it while you can.

5. Pray for her. Regularly. Passionately. Continually.

6. Buy her a glove and teach her to throw a baseball. Make her proud to throw like a girl… a girl with a wicked slider.

7. She will fight with her mother. Choose sides wisely.

8. Go ahead. Buy her those pearls.

9. Of course you look silly playing peek-a-boo. You should play anyway.

10. Enjoy the wonder of bath time.

11. There will come a day when she asks for a puppy. Don’t over think it. At least one time in her life, just say, “Yes.”

12. It’s never too early to start teaching her about money. She will still probably suck you dry as a teenager… and on her wedding day.

13. Make pancakes in the shape of her age for breakfast on her birthday. In a pinch, donuts with pink sprinkles and a candle will suffice.

14. Buy her a pair of Chucks as soon as she starts walking. She won’t always want to wear matching shoes with her old man.

15. Dance with her. Start when she’s a little girl or even when she’s a baby. Don’t wait ‘til her wedding day.

16. Take her fishing. She will probably squirm more than the worm on your hook. That’s OK.

17. Learn to say no. She may pitch a fit today, but someday you’ll both be glad you stuck to your guns.

18. Tell her she’s beautiful. Say it over and over again. Someday an animated movie or “beauty” magazine will try to convince her otherwise.

19. Teach her to change a flat. A tire without air need not be a major panic inducing event in her life. She’ll still call you crying the first time it happens.

20. Take her camping. Immerse her in the great outdoors. Watch her eyes fill with wonder the first time she sees the beauty of wide open spaces. Leave the iPod at home.

21. Let her hold the wheel. She will always remember when daddy let her drive.

22. She’s as smart as any boy. Make sure she knows that.

23. When she learns to give kisses, she will want to plant them all over your face. Encourage this practice.

24. Knowing how to eat sunflower seeds correctly will not help her get into a good college. Teach her anyway.

25. Letting her ride on your shoulders is pure magic. Do it now while you have a strong back and she’s still tiny.

26. It is in her nature to make music. It’s up to you to introduce her to the joy of socks on a wooden floor.

27. If there’s a splash park near your home, take her there often. She will be drawn to the water like a duck to a puddle.

28. She will eagerly await your return home from work in the evenings. Don’t be late.

29. If her mom enrolls her in swim lessons, make sure you get in the pool too. Don’t be intimidated if there are no other dads there. It’s their loss.

30. Never miss her birthday. In ten years she won’t remember the present you gave her. She will remember if you weren’t there.

31. Teach her to roller skate. Watch her confidence soar.

32. Let her roll around in the grass. It’s good for her soul. It’s not bad for yours either.

33. Take her swimsuit shopping. Don’t be afraid to veto some of her choices, but resist the urge to buy her full-body beach pajamas.

34. Somewhere between the time she turns three and her sixth birthday, the odds are good that she will ask you to marry her. Let her down gently.

35. She’ll probably want to crawl in bed with you after a nightmare. This is a good thing.

36. Few things in life are more comforting to a crying little girl than her father’s hand. Never forget this.

37. Introduce her to the swings at your local park. She’ll squeal for you to push her higher and faster. Her definition of “higher and faster” is probably not the same as yours. Keep that in mind.

38. When she’s a bit older, your definition of higher and faster will be a lot closer to hers. When that day comes, go ahead… give it all you’ve got.

39. Holding her upside down by the legs while she giggles and screams uncontrollably is great for your biceps. WARNING: She has no concept of muscle fatigue.

40. She might ask you to buy her a pony on her birthday. Unless you live on a farm, do not buy her a pony on her birthday. It’s OK to rent one though.

41. Take it easy on the presents for her birthday and Christmas. Instead, give her the gift of experiences you can share together.

42. Let her know she can always come home. No matter what.

43. Remember, just like a butterfly, she too will spread her wings and fly some day. Enjoy her caterpillar years.

44. Write her a handwritten letter every year on her birthday. Give them to her when she goes off to college, becomes a mother herself, or when you think she needs them most.

45. Learn to trust her. Gradually give her more freedom as she gets older. She will rise to the expectations you set for her.

46. When in doubt, trust your heart. She already does.

47. When your teenage daughter is upset, learning when to engage and when to back off will add years to YOUR life. If you succeed in doing this, tell me how.

48. Ice cream covers over a multitude of sins. Know her favorite flavor.

49. This day is coming soon. There’s nothing you can do to be ready for it. The sooner you accept this fact, the easier it will be.

50. Today she’s walking down the driveway to get on the school bus. Tomorrow she’s going off to college. Don’t blink.

We have been wanting to get the boys new beds for their room and with the baby coming in 17weeks we figured now would be the best time.

We were a little nervous with Brody because up until now he has only slept in his crib and no where else! He has done great!! He hasn't rolled off and doesn't come out of his room after we lay him down. The first morning after he slept in his big boy bed he came in our room super happy saying Good morning. It was the cutest thing.

Kyren loves having a bunk bed. He has been asking for one for a while and loves that he gets to sleep on the top bunk.

It's exciting getting new things for our boys and seeing the joy is brings to their little faces.

The reason for my existence

I have these two amazing little boys that are getting older and older with each passing days. It breaks my heart to see them growing up so fast knowing that one day I won't be able to cradle them both in my arms. It's important when "I'm to busy" to really stop and take a look at what is going all around me. This will not last forever and I have to learn to enjoy it while I can. It brings me back to one of my favorite quotes...

Kyren, you will never really know how important your timing to come into my life was. Because of you I have been able to push forward and accomplish the unimaginable. Being a teen mom was not easy but I do not regret any second of it. You have showed me what love is all about. You are my little sunshine!

Brody, you have taught me that being silly is so much fun! You make me laugh with all that you do. Having you has been such a joy and I have been so lucky to be able to spend each and every second with you.

I am also so lucky to have such an amazing husband. He supports me, makes me feel safe, loves me with all he has, and makes me feel beautiful. I know that I have been a little difficult to be around lately {with all my crazy pregnancy mood swings} and I love you for that. I am so lucky to have you be forever mine. You are such a sweetheart. Thank you for being you!

This is Scarlett!

We found out we were having a girl on Aug 5th and were in shock! After two boys it seemed that the odds were slim. I am super excited to be able to have some pink around the house and to make darling little bows! Knowing that I will have a little girl to dress up is so much fun! I can't wait. I have still been feeling great and have started working out again {running 2 miles a day} and gained 2 pounds so far. I finally have a baby bump {although I feel like it looks like I'm fat rather than pregnant} But non the less its there and we have started feeling her move which is very exciting!

Off to First Grade

Today Kyren started first grade! The summer ended very quickly but I know he was ready to start school. He's such a smart boy. I couldn't be more proud of him. I cannot believe how fast he's growing up. It feels like not long ago I was rocking him to sleep in my arms. Since starting kindergarten he's because such a great reader! He really amazes everyone with his smartness. He holds a big future ahead of him!

This morning when Kyren woke up {at 7am} he yelled at the top of his lungs with excitement "SCHOOL!" He couldn't wait to be on his way.

We have started a breakfast tradition for the first day of school. This year we had some yummy donuts and pancakes. It was great having those that care and love Kyren help us send him off on his first day. Thank you all for coming.

The Book of Mormon Challenge

I know I am a couple days late on posting this but I really want to challenge all my friends to do this with us! Life gets in the way sometimes and to be honest I am not the best example when it comes to reading my scriptures everyday. Well the primary kids in our ward were given a Book of Mormon challenge which I thought was GREAT! Here is the catch...by following this calendar below you will read the ENTIRE Book of Mormon in 92 days!
I started on Aug 1 and it has been very easy and is putting my in the habit of picking up my scriptures daily. I urge all of you to try, we will all be blessed because of it =)

Tucson Say-Cation!

A couple weekends ago we went out to Tucson for a much needed stay-cation and to catch up with some of Zaak's family. We had so much fun seeing everyone and relaxing at the resort.

When we arrived at our hotel Brody and Kyren were so excited! Both boys love staying at nice places...I was pretty surprised that little Brody knows what nice things are. For example when we were walking down the hall way to go in our room Brody was looking all around saying "Oh nice!" It was the funniest cutest thing ever. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend.

On the first day we hung out by the pool with the boys and relaxed in our room.

The second day the other Muros arrived and we went to a BBQ with the Acosta family. We stayed there all day talking and watching the rain later that night.

The last day we all went to breakfast and hung out at the pool. It was tough leaving but hope to go back for another weekend visit soon!

3 years down....eternity to go!

I just love the sound of that! Time on this earth would not be enough. I am so lucky to be in love with my best friend. Zaak is such a great husband, he helps me a lot with our boys and is such a great father, he never says no when asked to help around the house {sometimes I don't even have to ask because he's already helping}, he goes above and beyond any expectations that I could imagine. I am a strong believer in that marriage should not be work!

If you marry Mr. Right life is bliss!

Well not much has changed, except that I am now in my second trimester! I still feel great and no weight gain!!! I tend to not show early as you can tell...maybe next month I'll have more a bump going on. We can find the sex out as soon as 4 more weeks. We are so excited =)

We had a great Fourth of July! This year we had a small BBQ {some salad, BBQ ribs and chicken and some yummy desserts} and watch some fireworks. The boys loved them. Hope everyone had a fun and safe forth.

So I am pretty behind at updating my blog!! EEK! So here is what has happened since my last post...

Kyren had his last day of school last month and they did the cutest little program for the parents. We were so blessed to of had the most amazing teacher! Mrs. Ellingson was everything we could have hoped for!! She really loved all her kindergartners and taught them all so well. We are so grateful =) Kyren sure misses school and all his friends. On the last day I asked him if her was excited about summer and he said yes, but that it was also a sad day because school would be out. He is such a smart boy and loves to learn. So far this summer we have been doing a little bit of the park, and of course some swimming!

Mother's Day and more!

I know Mother's day was a couple weeks ago but life has been getting in the way of my blogging!

First I'd like to start with how much I love my mother and everything that she does for us. A mother is a special person that cannot be replaced. As I have been getting older I have realized that time on this earth is so short...thus I really want to make more of an effort to show my mom how much I care and love her.

The women that I am today is because of my mother.

I had a wonderful Mother's day, it was all about me and what I wanted to do! {Which was nice for a change} I woke up that morning to my two amazing kids and my husband waiting for me to come out of our room. On our table I found my favorite flowers and a beautiful vinyl board for our wall. There was also another surprise, for a while I have been wanting a big carpet rug for our living room and Zaak got me one!

We got ready and headed out to eat breakfast followed by Brody taking a nap, Kyren, Zaak and I watched a movie/napped. Later we went to my mother in laws to giver her her gift and to say hi. Then we went to my grandma's house for a big get together with all my aunts, uncles, cousins and mom.

On this special day I am reminded of how lucky I am to have two boys that call me mama and a husband that really appreciates everything that I do. Life is bliss.

Pregnancy update: Well I am about 7 weeks along and still feel great! No sickness or anything crazy. I am still doing my boot camps at 5:30AM and hope to do them until I pop. Since this is my third I figured that because I have NEVER taken any weekly pictures of my pregnancy that it might be a good idea to do it this time around. So bare with me! {Warning these may not be the most flattering pictures}

Still hard to tell that I have a little one in there, but I am sure that in about 4 more months I will start to show.

We are MOVING! Which is very exciting. Our new house is beautiful and perfect for our little family. Don't worry friends we aren't going far and will still be in the Ashland Ward! I have to start packing the big move is only 3 weeks away.

My last post was about Kyren's birthday! Here he is at school {on his actually birthday} The kids were singing "Happy Birthday!"

We went to Chuckee Cheese to celebrate him turning 6.

Well friends I did it again!

I signed up for another boot camp! Haha...bet you thought I was going to say something else.
I finished my first six week boot camp and immediately signed up for another one! I LOVE working out in the mornings. It has been the best way to start my day. I am getting a lot better with the exercises and my running. {which is huge for me} I strongly believe that we all have to better ourselves and do the things that will get us there. For years I have been wanting to get into shape and always had excuses, but not anymore. I am in control now! And it feels great. I promise to never miss out on a class because I am lazy {the class I go to is at 5:30am} or too sore from the day before. No excuses will stand in my way =)

Kyren turned 6 March 29, 2011.

My sweet baby boy is growing up fast. I know that I say this every year but it honestly feels like just yesterday I held you in my arms for the very first time. You have brought so much joy into my life. I am so proud to be your mom.

Ok, so I have the cutest story to tell you. Every day one our way in from recess I pick a mystery student. Today it was Kyren. Cooper was not too happy that "he never gets picked"(so he says). Not long after that the kids were standing in line to get their assessments and I see Kyren praying. After he was done I asked him what he was doing and he was very honest. He said he was praying that Cooper would be the mystery person next time!! SO CUTE!!!! WHAT A STUD!

"It was on top of a mountain where you told me you loved me"

That statement is true. Zaak took me on top of a mountain, we stood under a starry night, looking at the city lights down below. "I love you" He said as we held each other close. Never would I have thought that we would belong to one another for eternity.

Kyren, Bordy, Zaak and I were sealed for time and all eternity March 25 2011 in the Mesa LDS Temple at 5:15pm, exactly 3 years from the day and time Zaak and I first met.

As we arrived to the temple I was overcame by so many emotions. Knowing that I will forever be with Zaak and my two kids brings so much happiness to my heart. I am so blessed to belong to a church where families can be together forever. I love them all dearly. I am so glad to have waited to get sealed to my family because I have been able to really look into all that it means and appreciate each and every one of them. Its a special moment that Kyren and Brody {he maybe too little} will be able to remember and it has created a special bond between us.

Thank you so much for all of those that came and shared our beautiful day with us. We couldn't have asked for better family and friends.

Spring Break

Oh the fun we have had this spring break!

We started off by going to the Ostrich Festival in Chandler. We had a great time hanging out just us 4. It brings me so much joy to have my three loving boys!

We started off by watching the ostrich races. Kyren and Brody loved watching the ostriches run by.

Then we thought it would be fun to head over to the petting zoo and see all the animals.

The last week

So yesterday was my last day of my 6 week journey of boot camp. So glad I was able to finish it! The class started with about 20 women and on the last class there was only one person there...and it was me! {There were supposed to be two more girls with me but I don't know why they didn't show up last night}
I got pushed way beyond my limits and have gotten so strong. I can honestly say that I have shocked myself with what my body is capable of doing. Never did I think I could run 2.25miles, do more that 10 push-up, all these crazy leg work etc.{keep in mind that before signing up I have not worked out in 5+ years!} But I did. I feel so accomplished and believe doing this boot camp has changed me inside out. I feel great! The feeling I have of finishing strong is unexplainable. I plan on doing more boot camps in the next couple of weeks and hope to have my summer bod ready by May.
Colby thank you so much for being such an amazing trainer and having a positive attitude towards pushing me. Because of you I have realized that I am strong and that I can push hard and am capable of doing tough work outs! I hope to work out with you again soon =)

Our busy BUSY life

Zaak, the kids, and I have been extremely busy the last month and a half. Between Zaak working ALL the time, myself keeping busy with the kids and my boot camp class it seems like we don't get to see each other as much as we'd like.

A couple weekends ago we drove to Mexico to visit my dad and meet my new half sister. We packed the kids, my sister and Dash into my tiny car, let me say it was a pretty eventful journey.

We have also gone to a couple birthday parties and a baby shower! My mom had a birhtday last week and we went to this neat little Italian restaurant! HAPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

We also have a new love for BINGO! Ian and Favi invited us to go one night to the casino to play some bingo and it was so much fun. I can officially say we are little old bingo people.

This past weekend we took Brody to go ice-skating which he really liked. He liked it so much he cried when we had to go. Everyone kept saying how stinkin cute Brody looked with little ice-skates and on the ice!

Then last night we got to go to a professional soccer game with my uncle and cousins. It was a fun experience and hope to some day go to Europe to see a game! (which is our goal for the next world cup)

Mind VS Body

I just finished my second week of boot camp! Only 4 more weeks to go. Colby, our trainer, says that most of our work outs are just mental. It's fighting mentally with your body. Last night I felt like I really pushed myself and was pretty impressed with how much my body can handle this week. I am not feeling as sore but I think that I am starting to see little results, or maybe I am just feeling more confident in myself. Which ever the case I feel great and look forward to the next week.

I cannot believe that I am 25 years old! I have to admit I was freaking out a little...25 just seems so old! Sadly time cannot be stopped and the years will just keep adding up...so I'll just embrace it instead.

That morning Zaak took me to breakfast after dropping Kyren off at school and I got to hang out with him all day! Later my sweet husband and mom put together a birthday dinner at our house. We have all our family over for some yummy green enchiladas and pazookies! Thank you both for the making me feel so special. Also my grandma and aunt surprised me with their delicious nachos =P...and my mother-in-law brought me a cake! We played xbox kinnect and ended the night watching a movie with my cousin and husband. It was a great day.

On Saturday we rode the light rail for the first time. We took it all the way to Chase Field for a baseball event that was going on. We went with my aunt, uncle and cousins. The kids loved the light rail...it was pretty busy. We went and grabbed some yummy lunch together, then went to the Scottsdale Mall for some shopping. The boys got these cute hats and Zaak and I got a couple of outfits. We hurried home and got ready to go out on a date to Fogo de Chao. Its a Brazilian restaurant that has food to die for!

On Valentines day I came home to a bag and a balloon...inside the bag were a pair of shoes! My husband knows me all to well to know that I would appreciate shoes more than flowers on v-day. Zaak was so smooth and had the whole night planned out. We first went to dinner at my favorite restaurant, yes he had made reservations so we didn't have to wait at all. Then we went to a movie, and Zaak had gotten our tickets earlier so we didn't have to wait in the long line. Our night was very romantic and we had a lot of fun. Thanks babe for the great valentines day! You made me feel so special and I'm just head of heels for you!

The next six weeks

I've always have had his idea of what the perfect me would look like, and as I stare in the mirror I realize that I am far from it. Why do all us women stare at the cover of magazines and wish we looked just like that perfect girl?...Even if we know that in reality the photo has been photo shopped to look amazing. I have always struggled with my image and think I am never good enough. I have decided to get rid of this obsession and work with what I've got. Sure my tummy is not as flat as it once was before having two beautiful kids, my legs aren't firm and the list can go on and on...so from this day forth I am making an effort to eat healthier, work out and just accept who I am and what I look like.

I have joined a boot camp! It's not all just physical, I will also be working on my inner self. I have six weeks to love what I see on the outside as much as I love the me on the inside. I will not be using a scale because the purpose of me doing this has nothing to do with a number. I just want to feel good about myself.

So for those readers out there(if I have any) I will be tracking my progress on my blog. I will share thoughts, feelings and progress as the next six weeks come along.

This is my journey into a fit and healthier me =)

A little TruTV action in my life

So for those that know Zaak and I know that we love to watch TruTV and all the shows such as The First 48, Bait car, etc. Well this week while at my sister-in-laws I got to witness some real life action myself! We were inside her house when all of a sudden I head something saying "This is the police come out..." we run to her screen door to find two big SWAT cars blocking the road, undercover police cars, and a lot of men dressed in all black with big guns! We never really found out what they were after but they banged open their door and had people handcuffed sitting on the side walk. It was pretty intense, considering this was all done smoothly and there weren't any guns shot I don't know if I'd like to see stuff like this often especially since Brody was with me. I'll just stick to watching it on TV =)

Zaak's Birthday!

See this man right here...I just LOVE HIM to death! Last Friday we celebrated his birthday. He's 24! We had our whole family over for dinner and had a great time! As you can see we had a great turn out (about 40+)

It's one of my New Years resolution to try new things and yesterday we went to Tempe Town Lake for a nice picnic and to pedal on the lake! I've been wanting to go on a pedal boat for a long time. It was so much fun and very peaceful. The boys loved being out in the middle of the lake =)

Happy New Year Family and Friends!

Only about two weeks into the year and so much has been going on. On the first Zaak and I got to go to the Feista Bowl with some friends. We had amazing seats! (the 13th row!!) It was such a fun experience and I was happy to spend it with my love.

Kyren has become my little book worm and can read a whole book on his own! I am so proud of him. He is doing great in school and was the STAR STUDENT this week!

Brody is learning to use the BIG BOY potty! He is 18 months and so far has gone pee in it! We do have accidents at times but I am so proud of what hes done so far. We hope to be fully done by mid Feb=)

On Christmas Eve day Kyren and Brody went outside to sprinkle Reindeer food to make sure that Santa could find our house!

This weekend we were able to attend the ceremony for the new Gilbert Temple! It was amazing to be there as they broke ground. It is such a historic event we got to be a part of and couldn't miss!

I am so grateful to be a member of this church and all the blessings that have come of it. I can't wait for the Temple to be completed(about two years) and to be able to take all my family and friends to take a tour!

We had a very eventful Halloween week!

On Wed Brody and I went to Kyren's class to help out with their Halloween party. It was so much fun. The kids went around in groups and played activities and of course ate lots of yummy treats. Brody loved being the center of attention in the classroom. All the boys and girls wanted to play with him.

On Friday I got to go with Kyren to his first school field trip to Schepf Farms. We all had a great time. We went on rides, ate yummy food, and got to pick out pumpkins!

Later that night while we were at my moms the boys were taking a bath there since it was getting late and Brody slipped in the tub and cut his head open! It was pretty scary and there was blood everywhere. We took him to the ER where he got 5 stitches! He didn't cry much he was pretty tough. It was so sweet because Kyren was so concerned with Brody being alright. He just loves his baby brother so much.

Saturday out ward had a Trunk or Treat. My mom and sister went and so did Zaak's parents and Aunt. We had a fun time looking at all the costumes and passing out candy. And then on Sunday we went Trick or Treating =)

My post is long overdue!

On Sept 21st Kyren had to go to the dentist to get a tooth pulled. He was excited because he would be getting a visit from the tooth fairy but a little scared because of the needles! Dr Nielson was great with him! Got the tooth pulled in just a matter of seconds. That night I got to play tooth fairy and I loved it!! It was fun having Kyren wake up in the morning super excited because the tooth fairy had come and gave him $8 =)

My husband Zaak is amazing! I am honestly so lucky to share forever with him.

I love all the silly moments we share, how he can make me laugh, how he thinks I'm pretty funny, the way he makes me feel beautiful, how great of a father he is to both of our kids, how much help he is when he is home, our mornings together, how we both are addicted to Prison Break and will watch it for hours on end before bed, all the little things we have alike, our little wrestling matches, but most of all I love how everytime I see him he still takes my breath away!

On Wed it was Kyren's first day of school! I honestly cannot believe how fast that day came. It really makes me feel old knowing I now have a child that goes to school. He was so excited and could wait to start! I woke him up in the morning and he popped right out of bed. As him and Brody sat on the bathroom floor waiting for me to get ready Ky told his brother how he was going to start school and that he would be gone all day. It was so sweet.

He wanted some eggs for breakfast and wanted me to pack a lunch for him.

When we got to the school we got out with him and walked to the playground. Right away he gave me his backpack and ran off to go play with the other kids.

The bell rang and he lined up to go to his classroom.

Once we got inside the classroom we found his desk and it was time for all the parents to say goodbye. Kyren got a little upset because according to him he was tired of me taking pictures and even told us to "Just go already" He was so independent and brave.

He was excited to see us after school and told us about his day. He loved it! I am so proud to have a son that is so brave and smart. I know that Kyren will stand out at school because he is so creative, talkative, funny, and very intelligent.

As for us it's pretty lonely not having Ky home with us during the day. I can tell Bordy misses his big brother. I actually didn't cry dropping Kyren at school BUT I did tear up (a lot) once he got home and I read a poem he made in class that had his little hand print on it.

Yes I know 4th of July was a while ago but I just haven't had time to post our fun day!

In the morning we went to a little parade that as going on down the street for our house. The boys loved watching the floats drive by, hearing music playing, and seeing cheerleaders and dancers. After that we came home and had some lunch and just hung out.

Later that night we drove to Seaport Village to watch the fireworks off the bay. My husband was a little stressed out because it took us about 40min to find a parking spot and there were a lot of people. He normally does not like going to crowded areas, but he better get used to it because i just LOVE it! I like how you can just feed off of peoples energy and excitement! It was so much fun! We saw about 3 different firework shows from where we were standing. Kyren and Brody had a blast.

I seem to have forgotten about my blog lately. My once favorite thing to do has been pushed aside because of my busy life. I honestly do not like having to do an UPDATE post because its been that long lol but here is goes(again!)

Well over the last couple of weeks we have been pretty busy. My wonderful husband got us zoo passes! Which explains why I do not have time to blog. The boys love it...we can go about 3 times a week and walk around for hours and they do not get bored. Which I love because not only are we out enjoying this beautiful weather but it's a GREAT work out for me.

We have also gone to AZ to visit family and to attend my friend Megan's graduation. Congrats Megan!!!

As most of you may already now we are out in Cali again for the summer. I will have to say its a bitter sweet experience. Being married to a husband that only works during the summer is AWESOME during the winter and spring but not so much fun in the summer...thats because Zaak is working ALL the time from April to Aug. I have been trying to prepare for when the time came when he would have to be working and I would be out in Cali with the boys. It seems like the time we had him all to ourselves just flew! I probably sound a little selfish right now but Zaak is my best friend and I just love spending every minute with him! I'm so grateful that he has this job because it gives him the freedom of staying home 7 months our of the year. So I cannot complain too much. With that being said today was his first day back to work and I'm proud of him already!

Luckily I have these two little monkeys to keep my bus =)

Kyren's birthday party was last Saturday at my mom's house. He was really intent on having a Halloween costume theme! We have a pretty good time and some yummy treats! Thank you to those who came and we hope everyone had a good time =)

5 years ago I received on of lives greatest gifts. Thinking back on that day brings tears of joy into my eyes. I feel like it was just yesterday when I held you for the first time. Your precious baby smile filled my heart with love. You are becoming such a big boy and have many years ahead. I want nothing but the best for my little boy.

I had the opportunity of attending the temple yesterday to receive my own endowment.

My experience was amazing! My friend Ashley was my escort, and she was awesome! I felt comfort in having her with me. Zaak went with me as well and it was great getting to experience going to the temple together. I feel that attending the temple has strengthen my testimony. I look forward to going again and encourage everyone that has not had the opportunity to go to the temple to go.

I read this post on one of my friends blog and thought it was hilarious! Enjoy =)

When you have to visit a public bathroom, you usually find a line of women, so you smile politely and take your place. Once it's your turn, you check for feet under the stall doors. Every stall is occupied.

Finally, a door opens and you dash in, nearly knocking down the woman leaving the stall.
You get in to find the door won't latch. It doesn't matter, the wait has been so long you are about to wet your pants! The dispenser for the modern 'seat covers' (invented by someone's Mom, no doubt) is handy, but empty. You would hang your purse on the door hook, if there was one, but there isn't - so you carefully, but quickly drape it around your neck, (Mom would turn over in her grave if you put it on the FLOOR! ), yank down your pants, and assume ' The Stance.'

In this position your aging, toneless thigh muscles begin to shake. You'd love to sit down, but you cer tainly hadn't taken time to wipe the seat or lay toilet paper on it, so you hold 'The Stance.'

To take your mind off your trembling thighs, you reach for what you discover to be the empty toilet paper dispenser. In your mind, you can hear your mother's voice saying, 'Honey, if you had tried to clean the seat, you would have KNOWN there was no toilet paper!' Your thighs shake more.

You remember the tiny tissue that you blew your nose on yesterday - the one that's still in your purse. (Oh yeah, the purse around your neck, that now, you have to hold up trying not to strangle yourself at the same time). That would have to do. You crumple it in the puffiest way possible. It's still smaller than your thumbnail

Someone pushes your door open because the latch doesn't work. The door hits your purse, which is hanging around your neck in front of your chest, and you and your purse topple backward against the tank of the toilet. 'Occupied!' you scream, as you reach for the door, dropping your precious, tiny, crumpled tissue in a puddle on the floor, lose your footing altogether, and slide down directly onto the TOILET SEAT It is wet of course. You bolt up, knowing all too well that it's too late. Your bare bottom has made contact with every imaginable germ and life form on the uncovered seat because YOU never laid down toilet paper - not that there was any, even if you had taken time to try. You know that your mother would be utterly appalled if she knew, because, you're certain her bare bottom never touched a public toilet seat because, frankly, dear, 'You just don't KNOW what kind of diseases you could get.'

By this time, the automatic sensor on the back of the toilet is so confused that it flushes, propelling a stream of water like a fire hose against the inside of the bowl that sprays a fine mist of water that covers your butt and runs down your legs and into your shoes. The flush somehow sucks everything down with such force that you grab onto the empty toilet paper dispenser for fear of being dragged in too.

At this point, you give up. You're soaked by the spewing water and the wet toilet seat. You're exhausted. You try to wipe with a gum wrapper you found in your pocket and then slink out inconspicuously to the sinks.

You can't figure out how to operate the faucets with the automatic sensors, so you wipe your hands with spit and a dry paper towel and walk past the line of women still waiting.

You are n o longer able to smile politely to them. A kind soul at the very end of the line points out a piece of toilet paper trailing from your shoe. (Where was that when you NEEDED it??) You yank the paper from your shoe, plunk it in the woman's hand and tell her warmly, 'Here, you just might need this.'

As you exit, you spot your hubby, who has long since entered, used, and left the men's restroom. Annoyed, he asks, 'What took you so long, and why is your purse hanging around your neck?'

This is dedicated to women everywhere who deal with a public restrooms (rest??? you've GOT to be kidding!!). It finally explains to the men what really does take us s o long. It also answers their other commonly asked questions about why women go to the restroom in pairs. It's so the other gal can hold the door, hang onto your purse and hand you Kleenex under the door!

This weekend we went to New Mexico for Zaak's grandma's 80th birthday!

We got there on Friday and surprised Zaak's grandma! She was not expecting us to come and see her. The first night we had dinner at Monica's house with just us Muros...She got to open some gifts and eat cake =)

Then on Sat we had a big lunch will all of her kids and grand kids...Later that night we surprised her again by having a surprise party! I think she really enjoyed herself. We all had a great time!

My dad's 44th b-day

My dad turned 44 this year and we decided to go to Mexico and spend the weekend with him! Every time we go we have a ton of fun! This year he had a little get together with a couple people. We danced, had great food and some cake!

The rest of the weekend we went to the sand dunes and rode my dads jeep around. It was scary but very fun!

This was the best Christmas we have had! We divided the days with both our families starting on Christmas Eve. The day went a little something like this...

We had dinner with the Muros, opened our secret Santa gifts
Then we went over to my Grandmas house and all waited around until it was midnight!

I haven't talked much about my little boy Brody in a while so I thought I'd share somethings about him. This is little Brods(thats what Ky calls him) at 6 months...

He has one tooth and is starting to get #2
He is a chunker currently weighs about 18 pounds
Says mama or mum...so cute!
Can stand holding onto something(he's actually been able to do this for about 2 months)
Hates tummy time!
Loves to sit all by himself
Hates any sort of green baby food
Has found his screechy screaming voice!
Doesn't cry at all
Loves his big brother Kyren, every time he sees him Brody gets so excited
He sure loves his daddy!
Can wave hi and bye
Can giggle =)
Makes little fart noises with his tongue
Loves to eat his own feet

Time sure has gone by fast. He learns new things everyday. I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with my little boys and watch them grow.
