Another Surprise!

My dad came for the day to visit us! He called Zaak and told him he was coming and they kept it a surprise. I was shocked when he walked in the door! We had a great time. We went and got some lunch and then of course went to the beach. We wish he could have stayed longer... It has been a surprise filled week! I love it =)

We had and awesome weekend! I don't know where to start...On Friday some of the wives got together to make some dinner and say bye to our friend Chandee who is going to back to Utah. Although I have only hung out with her a couple times since we have been in Cali I will miss her! Her husband works with Zaak, so every summer they go to a different state to sell. I hope that we are in the same place next summer along with all the other girls. It was tons of fun and there was some yummy food. Once the boys got off work they all met up with us to eat.
This Saturday Zaak's family came over to visit us for a couple hours, They were coming to Cali to say bye to Zaak's cousin Chad who is leaving on his mission next month. So on Sunday we ended up driving to see his cousin and the rest of Zaak's family. It was nice to get to see everyone and they also got to meet Brody! On our way back we stopped by Grandpa Kelley's house and visited with him and Sandie. Sadly I didn't get to take any pics :(

Then my bff Megan came to see me on Sunday night. She stayed the night and made us breakfast on Monday morning. We planned going to the beach and were waiting for some stuff to dry when all of a sudden we hear a knock...and SURPRISE!!!

It was my mom, sister and Louie at the door! I was very excited to see them and it was completely unexpected. We all got in our swim suites and headed to the beach. It was so much fun!

Then on Tuesday we all went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park.

It was one of the best weekends I've had. I love it when our family and friends come out here to visit us. I love you all so much!

Visitors

I love the weekend. Zaak only works a half day on Saturday so we get to spend an afternoon with him. This weekend Zaak's family came over for a visit. We all went to the beach on Saturday when Zaak got off work and then out to dinner. They left Sunday afternoon. We had a great time. Amanda (Zaak's little sister) is actually staying with us for about a week. It will be nice having someone over and to keep me company since my hubby is gone all day long!

Update!

So it has been a while since I last did anything with my blog...I have been so busy! Having two kids really takes up all my time. So considering I don't have tons of time to blog here is a quick update on whats been going on.

We moved to Cali, yay! It was a long and exciting drive with a 2 week old but we made it. We are settled in and unpacked at our new apartment. I really love where we are staying. We have great shopping and restaurants walking distance from our new place and its only 20 min away from the beach!

The kids and I have ventured out on our own. So far we have gone to La Jolla like almost every day...have gone to BBQ with some of Zaak's co-workers, we went to the aquarium, and the mall for some window shopping and my friend Hannah has come out to visit. I have met some new girls out here and they are all awesome. We have only been here for about a week and a half but I love it! Here are some pics.
