Splash Pad Fun!

For the last couple of days I have been taking Ky to the San Tan Mall to play with their little water play area they have there. He really enjoys going and running around. I really want to get one for our house..they are so much fun and the nice thing is we won't have to worry about the dangers of a pool.

A year ago today...

A year ago today Zaak and I got engaged! Time has gone by so fast! He is the best husband in the world and I couldn't imagine not being with him. I honestly am blessed to of married such a wonderful man. I love you Zaak...here are a couple of pics of that big day!

For those of you that don't know the story it goes a little something like this... I had just gotten a new apartment and was about two weeks away from moving in. Zaak had gone out of town and when he got back I was very excited to show him my new place. We had arranged to meet up at the apartment so that he could take a look at my awesome new place. So we get there and see the model apartments and once we were done the lady said that the one I would be living in was available for us to see if we wanted...I almost said no...but I didn't. So we walk in and look at the apartment that I will be living in and when I walk into the master bedroom there were balloons and flowers! I had no idea what was going on...All of a sudden Zaak gets down on one knee and pops the big questions! The rest is history...

This is what we have been up to this week...

Since Zaak has been gone I have been trying to keep super busy so the days can go by fast!


We have gone to the park, Barnes and Nobles, and the mall!









We have gotten haircuts, new Transformer toys, and made pizza with Nana and Leslie







And we went to Amanda's 8th grade promotion and dinner party!







The weather has been super nice too! It's been raining and windy! Yesterday Ky went fishing and caught a little fish! oh and got soaked from playing in the rain. hehe

My wonderful Husband

For those of you that don't know Zaak left to Cali to start his new job working for Moxie. This has been a great opportunity for our family but it does come with some sacrifices. One of those is Zaak being away for the next month while Kyren and I stay here. He left yesterday and I miss him so much! I am trying to be tough and just suck it up! Its only 29days and before we know it we will all be together again! Zaak is so wonderful and I really appreciate everything that he does for us. I am so proud of him and know that he is working very hard. He is my soul mate. I am so thankful to of met him...I cannot imagine my life without him in it. I miss you Zaak and cant wait to see you!!!

Big Brother Class

This weekend Zaak and I took Kyren to a big brother class at Banner Gateway. It was so much fun and Ky really liked it! In the class he learned how to be a great helper, swaddle a baby, put a diaper on, and took a tour of the hospital. We also got to see about 6 new born babies! They were all so cute and little. At the end of the class he got a Big Brother Backpack, and a certificate saying he's ready to be a brother. It was very cute :) We also learned that the hospital has a special (secret) playground just for everyone in the maternity ward. Its very cool...its got lots of shade and I can take Ky and the baby out there to play. We can't wait!

Since we got all the baby stuff for Bordy, Kyren's decided to make sure to break everything in...you know, hes just being a great big brother and making sure everything works the way it was supposed to.

So last night Zaak and I wanted to watch a move in bed...well we don't have a tv in our room so we improvised...well needless to say we got a kick out of it. We decided to use this little portable DVD player that we have. Well the cord to plug into the wall is pretty short so we had to stay close to the corner of the bed by the edge.

HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.


Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom .
